Open Mic! feat. Dan Seaman

Saturday, April 20th | 2 p.m.

April is National Poetry Month!

Join us at the Peregrine for a special Open Mic, featuring our former MC and founder of PAPA, Dan Seaman. After the feature reading, the mic will be open to all readers, as always!

Spoken Word Open Mic is a monthly event featuring poetry and short prose. We welcome all readers, performers, and listeners. Bring your friends, and maybe that journal you scribble in sometimes when the inspiration hits. :)

About Dan Seaman

Dan Seaman is a 2nd-Gen Arizonan hatched in the now-defunct, Sonoran-desert mining town of Inspiration, AZ. He's lived in the Prescott area for more than 50 years, and graduated from Prescott High. He is now old and has forgotten more than he ever learned.

Dan has a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism from Northern Arizona University. He's worked in: print & media content; radio hosting/emceeing; film acting; criminal investigations; adult training/education; and also as a festival & event producer; bartender and bouncer; musician; construction worker; logger; miner; fire dancer; performance poet; and gardener.

Dan Seaman is currently working on his last, big project which will be the culmination of his life work presented as a multi-media collection of his poetry, stories, photography, and videos... probably for free, probably all on YouTube.
