Join us for the Slow Food Expo at Prescott College Crossroads Center! The Peregrine Book Company will be on hand to offer books related to local, slow food and sustainability. Dinner will be available at $10 suggested donation.

About the Event

"What Is Slow Food?" Expo is an event to gather students, residents, school gardeners, local-sustainable producers, farmers, ranchers and business people. It is a time to explore interests, network, and share the word of the "Good, Clean and Fair" Slow Food philosophy. This event is a step in the effort to educate and raise awareness, offering first hand experience with alternative approaches to growing, buying, preparing, and serving food that supports the local economy and the environment. The event will include a slide show of Slow Food campaigns around the world and in Prescott, tabling with products for sale, and a heritage dinner featuring Slow Food Southwest Ark of Taste products. No charge for table space. Free to all Prescott College students. Dinner donation $10 for non-students. Learn more about Slow Food Prescott »slow food prescott
