About the Author
Tamara Kastanas grew up on a family farm in southwest Missouri and learned from her mother how to master the baking of pastries and breads from scratch. Some of the tastiest recipes in this book are from her mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. Tammy has catered, managed a gourmet cafe, worked in the natural foods market, and has hosted baking demonstrations and classes in addition to a career as a Senior Social Security Disability Counselor. She enjoys working in the picturesque mountain town of Prescott, Arizona.
